For Shi and Toni, planning their wedding was a labor of love and family. Shi’s mom, who also happens to be her best friend, was by her side every step of the way—helping her stay organized, calm, and focused on what truly mattered. The Ceremony

The ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking. The bridal party complemented the florals beautifully in buttery yellow dresses, each carrying an Eloise posy displayed in a charming wicker basket. Antonio opted for a solo Eloise boutonnière, keeping his look timeless and perfectly in tune with the elegant yet cheerful palette.

The vintage arch was adorned on both sides with lush Eloise floral garlands, creating a romantic focal point for the vows. The aisle was lined with Eloise floral meadows, adding a dreamy touch of spring with every step Shi took toward Antonio. Together, these details created an atmosphere that was equal parts intimate and picture-perfect.

The Reception

After the “I do’s,” the celebration continued with thoughtful details that tied the ceremony to the reception seamlessly. The Eloise floral meadows were repurposed to decorate the playful “Ring for a Drink” wall and framed the stage where the band played, keeping the florals front and center all night long.

So when we partnered with Loverly for their latest Bach Club trip in beautiful Bermuda, we knew we had the perfect opportunity to showcase the full range of what our premium silk florals can do. The vision? Create four completely distinct and immersive events that would transport guests into a new world at every turn — and let the florals set the tone!

The Vision: A Floral Journey Through Four Signature Events

From the start, Loverly’s goal was to make each event feel one-of-a-kind, inspired by the latest trends in bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and modern wedding celebrations. With this in mind, they created four standout experiences:

- Main Squeeze Brunch – a bold, tropical welcome filled with citrusy color and island flair.

- On Cloud 9 Dinner – an ethereal beachside soirée bathed in soft whites and dreamy textures

- Something Blue Afternoon Tea – a romantic, whimsical escape inspired by Bridgerton.

Main Squeeze Brunch: Tropical Vibes, Island Style

For the kick-off event, the team leaned into bold, bright citrus tones to reflect the vibrant energy of Bermuda. Set against lush greenery and sun-soaked views, this brunch was pure joy! Think oranges, corals, and pops of hot pink — a color story that matched the tropical surroundings and welcomed the guests with a refreshing burst of color.

The Gemma Collection was the perfect match for florals. With vibrant blooms and a playful color palette, Gemma added the exact burst of fun they envisioned. The Gemma collection is a beautiful blend of bright bougainvillea, various shades of pink roses, camellias, lush ranunculus, and dreamy peonies. Guests couldn’t stop commenting on how real everything looked and felt, including the floral scent!

The brunch table was accented with our fun and funky, orange tanger votives alongside freshly sliced oranges to play into that ‘Main Squeeze’ theme. 

On Cloud 9 Dinner: Soft, Ethereal & Seaside Chic

For this serene, beachside dinner, the Loverly team went full ethereal. Picture soft whites, layers of gauzy fabrics, and delicate florals that trailed along the table setting. The design was intentionally understated, letting the natural surroundings shine while still creating an elevated, dreamlike experience.

The Wren Collection was an easy choice for florals — its soft white orchids and airy light pink roses were the perfect floral pairing for a barefoot dinner in the sand. The team added their own glass pillar candles, which finished the look with just the right amount of ambiance and warmth.

Something Blue Afternoon Tea: Romance Among the Ruins

Set in the breathtaking Unfinished Church, this tea party was the trip’s most awe-inspiring moment. The juxtaposition of crumbling stone and delicate, romantic florals created an unforgettable visual contrast. Inspired by the dreamy world of Bridgerton, this event was soft, feminine, and dripping in charm.

The Taylor Collection brought this scene to life with a mix of blues, creams, and soft purple tones that looked freshly picked from an English garden. The tablescape was complete with Taylor Floral Meadows on either side of the long table, as the Taylor Floral Runner provided a long, lush arrangement down the middle. Among the ruins, the florals softened the space and added just the right amount of whimsy.

‘Tini Bit Bridal Dinner: Chic, Cozy & Mocha-Toned Magic

The final dinner was a nod to the bride who loves her espresso martinis (and great design). With mocha mousse, the color of the year, as our lead shade, this dinner was rich, stylish, and cozy. It felt luxurious yet modern — a perfect send-off to a dreamy weekend.

Once again, the Wren Collection delivered. Its neutral, premium silk white orchids allowed the team to highlight the mocha tones in the rest of the tablescape. Paired with romantic candlelight from our gold Tulip and Solitaire Candlesticks. These antique-style taper holders elevated the overall look of the exclusive dinner.

One of the biggest wins of the weekend? How incredibly easy and impactful the florals were!

The team was able to match their mood boards to our floral collections with ease. Once the florals arrived, it was a simple unbox, fluff, and place — perfect for a destination celebration where time and resources are limited! 2. Can I make any customizations?

One of the most common questions we get! We don’t offer custom florals, everything in our collections arrives exactly as photographed on our website, which means no surprises on your big day. But that doesn’t mean you can’t add your own personal flair!

We love seeing how brides bring their unique style to our arrangements. For example, if you're envisioning white, blue, and vibrant pops of color, start with our Millie Collection as a base. Then, add in your own fresh or silk stems to create a look that’s completely your own.

3. Can I make edits to my order once it’s placed?

Yes! You can edit your wedding flower rental order anytime up to 10 days before your event—a level of flexibility you likely won’t find with a traditional florist.

With fresh florals, most brides submit inspiration photos and hope for the best. With Something Borrowed Blooms, what you see is exactly what you’ll get. You can swap collections, update quantities, or make changes through your customer portal on our website 24/7—no phone calls necessary, unless you want to chat, of course!

4. How often do you come out with new collections?

We’re always dreaming up something new! Our design team typically releases two collections per year. Sometimes it’s a completely new look with a fresh color palette. Other times, it’s a modern refresh of an existing collection—think of it as a little floral facelift to keep things current and on-trend.

Either way, you can always expect something stunning coming your way! And not to worry, if you book a collection and later fall in love with a new release before your event date, you can easily make a switch through your customer portal!
