Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Something Borrowed Blooms, Inc. ("Something Borrowed Blooms," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or placing an order on www.somethingborrowedblooms.com ("Site"), you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Overview of Our Services

Something Borrowed Blooms provides premium silk floral rentals for weddings and events. Many of our products are rented, not sold. Each rental includes a set rental period, shipping both ways, and built-in coverage for normal wear and tear.

By renting from us, you agree that:

  • You will use the items only for their intended purpose and in a responsible manner.
  • You will return the items on time and in good condition, consistent with normal wear and tear.
  • You will not attempt to disassemble, permanently alter, or expose items to fire, water, or open flame.

3. Rental Period

Our standard rental period is five (5) days, beginning up to three (3) days before the event date and ending one (1) day after the event.

We reserve the right to ship your order up to several days early when possible.

All rentals must be returned using the prepaid FedEx return label provided and in the original packaging. Returns must be dropped off at a FedEx location no later than one (1) day after your event date.

If the return date falls on a Sunday or a federal holiday, the next business day is acceptable.

Failure to return your rental items on time may result in a $25 per day late fee.


4. Product Care, Warranty, and Damage Policy

All rental items include built-in coverage for normal wear and tear, such as:

  • Minor scuffs or broken petals
  • Light stains or small cosmetic imperfections

However, you agree that:

  • You will not intentionally damage or alter the items.
  • You will not expose the flowers to fire, water, or other harmful conditions.

If items are damaged beyond normal wear and tear, you agree to pay up to 50% of the rental cost per damaged item.

If any items are not returned, you agree to pay up to 1.5 times (150%) the rental cost per unreturned item.

Examples of possible fees:

  • Damaged Bridal Bouquet: $32
  • Damaged Aisle Marker: $8
  • Unreturned Bridesmaid Bouquet: $52
  • Unreturned Corsage: $18

We may charge the card on file after inspection of the returned items to cover these fees.


5. Payment and Deposits

All orders require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.

The remaining 50% balance will be automatically charged at the time your order ships (typically 10 days before your event date).

We use Stripe to securely process and store payment information. Your card details are vaulted with Stripe and may be used to:

  • Process the remaining balance of your order
  • Charge for unreturned or damaged items (as described above)
  • Expedite future orders

All taxes are calculated and collected via Stripe Tax.


6. Order Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

a. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 90 days or more before your event date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellations made less than 90 days before your event will forfeit the deposit.
  • Cancellations must be submitted by email to info@sbblooms.com or through your customer account.

b. Order Edits

  • You may edit or add items up until 2 weeks out from the event date.
  • Within 2 weeks of the event date, no deletions or item removals are accepted.
  • Additions after shipment must be placed as a new order.

c. Special Circumstances

For unforeseen situations (e.g., weather-related cancellations or emergencies), please contact us at info@sbblooms.com for consideration.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.


7. Shipping and Returns

  • All shipments are made using FedEx.
  • We only ship to physical addresses in the 48 contiguous US states.
  • A prepaid FedEx return label and packaging materials are provided with every order.
  • You must return all original packaging inserts; missing inserts will incur a $50 replacement fee.

We are not responsible for personal property unintentionally returned in your package.


8. User Content and Media

By submitting reviews, testimonials, images, or other content (collectively, "User Content") to Something Borrowed Blooms — including by tagging us on social media — you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and paid advertisements.

You represent that you own or have permission to share the User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

By contacting us, you agree not to submit confidential or sensitive information through our forms or chat systems.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall first be resolved through informal negotiation.

If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Each party shall bear its own costs, and arbitration shall be the exclusive remedy, except for small claims or injunctive relief.
