Taylor & Tommy’s Timeless Spring Wedding

Something Borrowed Blooms’ couple uses timeless Spring inspired collection at Great Marsh Estate wedding.

At Something Borrowed Blooms, we love hearing our couples' unique and heartwarming stories and how our premium silk flowers made a special impact on their wedding day. Today, we're delighted to share the beautiful journey of Taylor and Tommy, whose wedding day was a celebration of their love and a testament to the magic of our rent & return wedding flowers.

Invisible String:

Taylor and Tommy believe in the “invisible string” theory, which suggests that an unseen thread connects destined individuals. Growing up in the same town, they knew of each other through their siblings, despite attending rival high schools and never meeting.

Their paths finally crossed in college when Tommy visited Taylor’s campus. In a moment that felt like the universe aligning, Taylor hugged Tommy without an introduction. Later, they discovered each other's numbers already saved in their phones—a serendipitous mystery that felt like destiny. From that moment, they were inseparable and have been together for nearly eight years, their love growing stronger with each passing day.

Choosing the Perfect Florals:

When planning their wedding, Taylor had a clear vision for her wedding flowers: budget-friendly, simple, and customizable. However, her search for local fresh floral vendors left her disheartened. The high price tag associated with fresh flowers and the seasonal variability made it hard to envision the final look and the costs seemed unjustifiable. Something Borrowed Blooms was a great choice for wedding flowers, offering Taylor the transparency she was looking for and a budget-friendly option. After going back and forth on all the collections from Something Borrowed Blooms, Taylor finally found her perfect match by mixing the Charlotte and Audrey Collections for a timeless spring wedding flower look.

“I love both of the collections because of how classic they look! I knew I wanted a round bouquet with subtle pinks incorporated into the flowers, so Charlotte was the perfect fit! I loved how it looked against my dress and the blues in my bridesmaid's dresses. The Audrey collection was simple and elegant and really elevated our dining tables for our reception. Both of them came together perfectly and delivered the classic look I was going for.”

The Ceremony:

Thanks to the breathtaking views of the Great Marsh, Taylor and Tommy’s ceremony space was naturally stunning. Adding the Audrey Grand Centerpieces at the beginning of the aisle and flanking the ceremony space, perfectly enhanced the terrace, adding an elegant touch to an already picturesque setting.

The Reception:

For the reception, Charlotte Centerpieces adorned the high-boy tables, while Audrey Large Centerpieces graced the dining tables. The Audrey Collection continued to impress guests throughout the venue, with Tommy and Taylor creatively repurposing the Grand Centerpieces from the ceremony to accentuate their sweetheart table beautifully.

“For our reception space, I wanted it to be clean and simple so I knew The Audrey Collection would tie everything together in that space!”

The Review:

Taylor raves that the best part of renting her wedding flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms was the simplicity of the entire process! From start to finish, she was amazed by how stress-free and convenient the entire experience was.

“My florals were delivered a week before, and everything came just as ordered. I had a ‘day of coordinator’ who set everything up and placed everything back in the boxes by the night's end. I scheduled a free FedEx pickup for the Monday after the wedding, and they did all the heavy lifting! Renting my wedding flowers with SBBlooms was truly such a magical process, and I would do it again and again for any other event! I’m one of the first of my friends to get married, and after this weekend, it’s safe to say I have turned them all into “faux floral” fans!”

Congratulations to Taylor and Tommy! We are truly honored to have been a part of your wedding day and are excited to be a part of your future celebrations.
